MINISO has officially opened hundreds of stores in Asia. MINISO is a collection of lifestyle goods that "young people love to shop". It was started in 2013 by Mr. Ye Guofu, a young Chinese entrepreneur, and its China headquarters is located in Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.

In 2020, MINISO has a brand new start, and the brand has been endowed with richer meanings. On October 15, MINISO was officially listed on the New York Stock Exchange with the code MNSO. On July 13, 2022, MINISO was officially traded on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange with the stock code of 09896.HK.
